In addition to being the only photog­rapher in Ottawa who is a member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association, I have also been accepted into the Artistic Guild of the WPJA, a sub-organization that recog­nizes excel­lence in post-production and the practice of fine art photography.

The Wedding Photojournalist Association is an inter­na­tional orga­ni­zation specif­i­cally for those photog­ra­phers that practice wedding photog­raphy in a docu­mentary style. The WPJA restricts its membership to? those wedding photog­ra­phers that actually practice wedding jour­nalism and docu­mentary style photog­raphy, and I’m happy to say that I remain the only photog­rapher in Ottawa to be approved for membership.

For the fourth session in Erika and Michael’s Year in the Life, we met up at the arboretum in the nice hot weather! It’s such a neat feeling to be able to document the life of a new baby, I can’t wait to create their album
