Jessica and Dave are getting married in September, so we got together for a summer engagement shoot to break the ice…sorta (they were both at Allison’s wedding a few weeks back   The field near their home provided the back­ground, and the two of them provided the love for this later afternoon session.

I’ve had so much fun getting to know Erika and Michael and their growing family. It all started four years ago, with the first session for their son Christian. Over the course of that year we created some of my all-time favourite image, culmi­nating in Christian’s album.

When Emily came along we picked up right where we left off, and created even more great images for her Year in the Life. And now, we have Emily’s last session, and we wanted to make it a great one. So we all met up at Saunder’s Farm and had fun exploring play­grounds, water­parks and super-slides!

I first met Julie and Michael six years ago, when I photographed their engagement and wedding. I’m happy to say that over the years we’ve stayed in contact, and now they have a beau­tiful daughter, Jordana. We met up at the Arboretum for a family shoot, as Jordana is already running around

I enjoyed a sunny and warm summer afternoon with Jack near the Ottawa River…oh, and Melissa and Pete were there too! This is Jack’s third Year in the Life session, and I can’t believe how much he’s grown already!

Polly was there too of course, but her fur coat meant lots of panting
