Melissa and Pete’s wedding was a few years ago, and soon after that they left for Australia for over a year…all that is to say that I haven’t seen them for quite a while. So it was great to learn that they were back in town, and had a new baby boy! It’s a real source of joy for me to bear witness as a couple moves through life, from their wedding to their growing family. Much congrats guys!
Yeah, I’d watch out too, pal.

For their third session, we went to play in the fall colours of the arbouretum.

I joined Erika, Michael, Christian and Emily at St Anthony’s Church for Emily’s Christening on a bright sunny day…a big change from the snowstorm that walloped Ottawa for Christian’s Christening a few years ago. Emily wore the same dress Erika wore, and I thought Michael would explode with pride.
I’m not sure Emily was as happy as Mom and Dad though…
