I'm a photographer, and this blog is all about sharing my work. Through the images presented here I hope you'll experience the fun, energy, honesty and emotion I have been entrusted to document.

I specialize in the photography of family history because I love to create memorable images of real life, both for you and for your entire family. If that sounds interesting, drop me a line. I’d love to talk with you.

Until then, welcome.

‘Ottawa Arbouretum’ Entries

Thomas, Benjamin and Therese

These three crazy kids stopped running around (sorta) long enough for me to create some photos for Mom. Talk about active kids!

  1. Janice wrote “Finally made it to your blog! Thanks for the great session and love the photos! That first photo of Therese - I don't think I picked that one - hmmm - tempted!!!! Janice.”

Xander, Jacqui and Julian

I met up with this family of kooks for a family session, although I didn’t know they were kooks until I got there. Lots of fun, tree climbing, and people making out in the background. Awesome!

Maybe a park in the middle of the day isn't the best spot for this :)

A Year in Sacha’s Life, Session One

Harkiran, Tod and I first met almost six month ago, when we did a maternity session at their home. Since then, little Sacha has come into to world, and I had fun getting to know him during his first Year in the Life session. He was a trooper in the evening light, and we got some great stuff.

Sacha had time for an airplane ride with dad…
…before hunger pangs took over :)

Tika got into the action too, of course, mostly by being patient.

A Year in Jacob’s Life, Session Three

For their third session, we went to play in the fall colours of the arbouretum.

We were first given a lesson in How To Burn Off Energy by Andrea:

Then it was time for, in the words of a friend of mine, “the best baby hair ever!”

Then, lesson two on How To Burn Off Energy:

Mavis + Tyler

You may recall a few years ago that I photographed Mavis when she was just a little baby…well, she has a new baby brother, and now it’s Tyler’s turn!

I couldn’t believe how much Mavis has grown since I saw her last!

We had time for rolling down hills…

…feeding the ducks…

…and throwing leaves!

And Chloe the great dane got in on the action as well.
