I'm a photographer, and this blog is all about sharing my work. Through the images presented here I hope you'll experience the fun, energy, honesty and emotion I have been entrusted to document.

I specialize in the photography of family history because I love to create memorable images of real life, both for you and for your entire family. If that sounds interesting, drop me a line. I’d love to talk with you.

Until then, welcome.

A Year in Emily’s Life, Session Three

October 3rd, 2010

I joined Erika, Michael, Christian and Emily at St Anthony’s Church for Emily’s Christening on a bright sunny day…a big change from the snowstorm that walloped Ottawa for Christian’s Christening a few years ago. Emily wore the same dress Erika wore, and I thought Michael would explode with pride.

I’m not sure Emily was as happy as Mom and Dad though…

This is the first session from Erika and Michael’s second Year in the Life, this time for Emily. Congratulations guys, she’s beautiful!

Of course Christian got into the mix too :)

A Year in Jacob’s Life, Session Two

July 8th, 2010

For the second session, I met up with Heather and Louis at the (thankfully!) air-conditioned home…my car’s thermometer read 40? so I was very happy for that!

A Year in Huxley’s Life, Session Five

June 18th, 2010

For this, the fifth and last session in Huxley’s Year in the Life, we returned to the beginning: the same tree where their maternity session was photographed, a year ago almost to the day. It’s So neat to look back over the the images taken over the course of a year…I can’t wait to design their album!

  1. Gen wrote “I like all your pictures, the light is always beautiful and you indeed capture emotion. But this is simply to give kudos to the "three pairs of legs on a tree" pic. It is not the most spectacular of the set but it works because of the little red toes and feet. It really put the meaning in "growing up". Great idea, adorable result.”

A Year in Huxley’s Life, Session Four

February 7th, 2010

Bee and Shawn decided to add a fifth session to their Year in the Life program, so we headed outside to enjoy a sunny winter day. He seemed to enjoy it despite the fact that the little bean was wrapped up almost as tight as the little brother in A Christmas Story.
