Session three of Huxley’s Year in the Life went swim­mingly Can you guess which picture was the last one I took?

Looks like we got Bee and Shawn’s maternity session done just in the nick of time, because not a week later little Huxley was born, almost 5 weeks early. I look forward to getting to know this little guy over the next year

Monica had her baby almost a week ago, and I was happy to spend time with little Samantha and her new family.

The Year in the Life collection includes four portrait sessions scheduled at any point during the span of a year. Most often, these sessions are spread out during the first year of your baby’s life, some­times with an optional fifth session for a maternity shoot.

Each session is about an hour long, and takes place at the location of your choice. Taken indi­vid­ually, each session generates about 30 to 40 images. But taken together, these four sessions create a visual history of your family as you grow together during the course of a year.

The end product is most often a custom-designed coffee-table style book including images from all of the portrait sessions. This hard­cover book is printed on fine art matte finish paper, and features a design customized to your particular images. Of course, an album is just one of the options available to you, and you are welcome to select indi­vidual images for wall prints and gifts for your family.
