Let’s imagine that it’s 10 years from now. You could still be in Ottawa, or you could be somewhere completely unexpected. Perhaps there are kids running around, keeping you busy.

But they are in bed now, and as the two of you wind down after a long day you catch a glimpse of your wedding album, and pull it out. As you look through it together, you are suddenly transported back to one of the happiest days of your lives. You squeeze each other's hands a bit tighter.

Now imagine it’s 25 years from today, and you’re preparing for another big day in the history of your family: the wedding of a son or a daughter, a niece or a nephew. You pull out your album and go through it with the couple-to-be, marvelling at how different things looked back then and talking about everything that happened...even the things you had forgotten until one of the photos brought it all back.

Later that evening, when you’re at home alone, you pull out your parent’s album, one of your most treasured possessions. You see the joy on the faces of your parents as they began their journey through life together. You think of the adventure that awaits the couple-to-be, and you smile.

This is what wedding photography is to me. And it’s my honour to provide it for you.
